About the Event
In the days before the final construction, volunteers and staff alike have be making the cardboard boxes that make up the bricks of the tower Simple oblongs, arches and spires all formed from cardboard and tape. Decorations are drawn & painted on their surfaces. Mastermind by the French artists Olivier Grossetete his architecture takes shape and completed in a day. Despite the rain the tower is completed on time and stands for all to admire. A couple of hours later its toppled and destroyed by its makers.
