About the Event
Summer in Southside by the Birmingham Hippodrome. Set in the streets around the Hippodrome over the weekend. Friday evening performces was a VIP event for the local sponsors as a thakyou for their involvement. Saturday & Sunday street performances were by Tall Tail Accrobatics, Puppets With Guts, Acrojou, Desperate Men and many more. Great music from The Alway Drinking Marching Ban and the Audience Orchestra, and the Merry Urban Mess by Les Vernisseyrs, games from Tombs Creatius. An inovative and relatively cheap installation was the Beach, sand, sea and fun for all the family, enjoyed by everyone.
