About the Festival
GDIF takes place in June 2012 with the main opening show on Friday evening Prometheus Awakes by Graeae, staged in front of the National Maritime Museum. Saturday and Sunday continued with a wealth of performances in the main area at King Charles Lawn/Monument Gardens with satellite performances in Tower Hamlets, St. Alfege Park, Meridian Estate, and Charring Cross Station. The dance had some great backdrops in Docklands. Closing in Woolwich a week later a great show performed to a spell bound audience by La Compagnie Malabar.
