About the Festival
Derby Fest at the end of September opened in Derby River Gardens with "As the World Tipped" by Wired Aerial Theatre performed on a stage which is hoisted vertically into the air where the aerial show takes place. Saturday brought some great outdoor and street performances both roaming and on fixed stages. The entertainment continued into the evening in the Market Place. A great weekend from a young festival with a small production team.
