About the Event

A small and simple taking place over a few days in november in commemoration of the lives lost in the bombing raids over Birmingham during World War Two. An illuminated installation with sound & projected still images depecting the events in Birmingham during the blitz, fronted with a tumbled mass of hand made representations of bricks, each labeled with the names and details of the 2241 to remember a life lost. Produced by Birmingham Hippodrome and award winning arts organization Metro-Boulot-Dodo. Relatives & friends of those lost were invited to make & label bricks and place them on the installation during the opening ceremony and throughout the following days.
