How Like an Angel by Circa

About the Performance

A collaboration between the physical arts company "Circa" and vocal ensemble "I Fagiolini" is powerful, daring and utterly captivating. As the audience move around the cathedral the six acrobatic performers tumbled and move above their heads and perform jaw-dropping routines on both stages, one at each end of the cathedrals nave. Their strength, grace and balance is a joy to watch as they fuse gymnastics, modern dance and circus skills in an hour-long show that is full of surprises. As the music reaches a crescendo, one of the artists launches himself from the triforium level, landing 62 feet below, to the astonishment & gasps of the audience.
